Cabot raises product prices by 10%, fumed silica market may usher in a rebound

On July 14, 2020, Cabot announced the price increase notice for fumed silica products. From July 15, 2020, the company will increase the prices of CAB-O-SIL® fumed silica and CAB-O-SPERSE® aqueous dispersion by 10%.

Cabot said that the price increase is to cope with rising costs in various aspects, such as logistics costs, and to be able to make continuous investments in supply reliability, technological innovation, and providing the highest level of customized services and technical support.
